I några andra medier fick han betyget "Man of the Match".

I’ve criticised Curtis Jones in the past for taking too long, needing one more touch and trying to beat an extra player rather than passing.

You know what ? Maybe Klopp saw all these and was training it out of him, slowly integrating with the team.

He was brilliant last night

Think there also needs to be a special mention for Curtis Jones. He’s matured into an absolutely outstanding footballer and is cementing himself as one of the 1st names on the team sheet. Superb footballer.

Curtis Jones should be on the plane to Germany in the summer, 100%.

One of the best midfield performances of the season from Curtis Jones. A true all-phase midfielder, capable of making a difference in all parts of the pitch.

Technically secure, calm & composed, and an absolutely relentless runner. One of the best engines in the league. pic.twitter.com/Wzh0oQzLoP

I’m so happy people start to realize what Curtis Jones brings to the team.

Curtis Jones should be the first midfielder on the teamsheet now. Composure, goal threat, picks a pass, rarely loses the ball. We're a different team when he plays 90 mins
— Adrian Tempany (@AdrianTempany) January 1, 2024

Curtis Jones is the new Gini Wijnaldum for Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool.

An unsung hero in and out of possession amongst the rake of stars around him.

He’d be regarded as world class if he was signed for £60m from a foreign league 👍😎 pic.twitter.com/Ljha9EueXR

Curtis Jones is looking like the ultimate 8. I can’t believe it
— Sean (@SeanDOlfc) January 1, 2024

Curtis Jones has really won me over. I was a critic of his and wasn’t sure that he was of the level needed to be a Liverpool player. He was fantastic tonight and has been very good in recent weeks.
— Mac (@PJMac777) January 1, 2024

The Reds made the birthday a very, very happy one. A very happy one, record XG recorded!! 7.2! Fuck me.

Curtis Jones is now everything we wanted him to be, he's stepped up and is fucking fantastic. First midfielder on the teamsheet.

Funniest part about Curtis Jones being unbelievable is that there are still people right now that are adamant that he's terrible.
— Poots🫡 (@Poots__) January 1, 2024

12 months ago our own fans were saying he wouldn't be here by summer of 2023. Now its a generally accepted opinion that he'd get into every team in the Prem. I fucking love Curtis Jones and I love that he's proving so many Twitter "experts" are full of poo https://t.co/m9r73TVoNe
— Haz (@HazLFC97) January 2, 2024

Over the last couple of years there were plenty writing Curtis Jones off as not good enough for LFC.

He's naturally beginning to mature (still only 22) and look a very important player.

Luckily Jurgen had patience & could see the long game.
— LFC Tweets (@30YearsRed) January 1, 2024

If you can't see how good a player Curtis Jones is you've 100% get an agenda.
